In the Airport Through The Midnight To The Morning

So, i was on my way back to my studying place. I arrived in Stansted Airport in the evening and then make my way to the London Heathrow airport and stay there overnight because my next flight is in the morning at 6.35am on 30th August 2010. I did not sleep while waiting at a 24 hours cafe and here are some pictures in the early morning at some part of the Heathrow airport. Empty check in hall

Unique roofing

When i was about to come to Warsaw years ago, there is a building that caught my eyes on the internet while searching about the city. It has a very unique wavy roof. Well, i snapped some shots of the interior of the building :

It is a huge shopping mall called Zlota tarasy and on the topmost floor is where the food court, a gym and a cinema can be found.

This is the view from outside :

Just an illusion?

I guess not. This unique building can be seen in Sopot, Poland. When translated, it is called " Crooked House"

England vs Germany World Cup 2010

So, we all know that the World Cup 2010 South Africa was buzzing with vuvuzelas.
Some powerhouses have left the World Cup in the group stages, most notably France and Italy. And today, England are facing Germany in the last 16 knockout stage. Goals were coming and England were 2-0 down early on and they managed to get 1 goal back to make it 2-1. But the story of the day would be their "robbed" equaliser, which should have make it 2-2.

David Beckham, not playing, showed his disbelief for the disallowed goal.

Fabio Capello, the England manager was left fuming and furious. The ball was clearly A YARD into the goal line and surprisingly, the referees called it off.
This could be the reason the England morale team went down and in the end, the Germans won...............

.......with a thumping 4-1 scoreline
I guess it is time for the FIFA and officals to rethink about using goal-line technology in order to see replays of whether a ball is over the line or not.

Toy Story 3

In the end, the owner parted from his toys. Bringing childhood memories. Touching.
